Audio Technology Associate Degree
Program Overview
The Audio Technology Associate Degree program focuses on the foundations of sound engineering, designed to get the student into the field in as few as 12 to 16 months.
Degree Progression
Each term you'll be immersed in project-based, hands-on audio courses while gradually racking up your general education requirements.
Term 1: Principles of Sound, Fundamentals of Recording, Music Theory
Term 2: Live Sound, Studio Production, Digital Audio Workstations
Term 3: Large-format Consoles, Post-Production, Advanced Production Techniques
Term 4: Final Projects, Recording Business, Entrepreneurship
Associate of Science students will be required to complete 15 hours of General Education classes including: English Composition, World History, Introduction to Mathematical Modeling, Conceptual Physics, and Speech Communications. These classes are offered on campus.

Class Schedule & Brochure
Class sizes are limited to maximize individual attention. Please refer to the campus catalog for specific class times or contact the campus to determine class time availability. Not all class times are offered every semester. Students also attend practical lab sessions, and these hours are scheduled on an individual basis during hours of school operation, and the maximum number of students is based on the number of available stations. Extra lab time may be reserved without additional charge, subject to availability. Students may also be required to attend seminars/workshops for specific courses.
